MONTREAL – Who owns PokerStars as well as other gambling websites says a number of its employees might be joining an attempt to just accept company private.
Amaya Inc. says it’s been notified it’s executive vice-president for corporate development, together with three other employees, may be getting involved in the chance takeover being contemplated by CEO David Baazov.

The gambling internet company didn’t identify Baazov’s allies by name nevertheless its executive VP for corporate development is Marlon Goldstein, who’s also Amaya’s general counsel.
Amaya says still hasn’t received a proper bid or offer from Baazov, who announced his interest on Feb. 1.
BNN business news channel reported on Friday that Baazov has hired Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs as financial advisers, based on three separate sources. BNN said Baazov wouldn’t comment.
