Tim Hortons and Burger King promise to serve cage-free eggs by 2025

TORONTO – The parent company of Tim Hortons and Burger King is committing to serving cage-free eggs whatsoever Canadian, American and Mexican locations by 2025.

Restaurant Brands International joins a growing listing of restaurants which have promised to dish up eggs sourced only from hens which have not been confined to cages.

Denny’s has promised its U.S. restaurants would serve only cage-free eggs by 2026, McDonald’s committed to doing exactly the same at its Canadian and American locations by 2025, and Starbucks plans to meet that goal by 2020.
