Robert Ingram of Moore Ingram Johnson & Steeles sought a new avenue of persuasion throughout a recent hearing prior to the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Wearing Donald duck ears, he told the panel that does not even Walt disney world couldn’t stand up to the “fantasy arguments” made by opposing counsel.
According to Law.com, Ingram told the court that he had spent the prior week at Disney World together with his grandchildren where they’d seen “all kinds of fantasy.” But nothing they saw, he added, could rival the arguments of opposing counsel. Then he doffed the head wear.
Ingram’s novel approach arose poor an appeal from an order disqualifying two lawyers from representing their client in litigation. Ingram was arguing to uphold the disqualification.
No word yet on who won – or what impact those Donald duck ears may have had.
