One from the veterans around the globe of infrastructure has a new home.
Jim Tower, the previous managing director, group head of power and utilities at BMO Capital Markets is now with Raymond James Ltd., the local arm of Tampa-based publicly listed Raymond James Financial.
At his new firm, Tower, who spent a lot more than two decades at BMO prior to leaving in 2013, will carry the title, managing director and head from the firm’s power and infrastructure group.

In fact, Tower, who within the last two years was the md at Griffin Group Merchant Partners Inc. may also be given the job of building the Raymond James department.
“Jim will have a key role in developing our capabilities having a concentrate on companies within the renewable power, utility and pipeline sectors,” said Paul Allison, the chairman and ceo, at the Canadian unit.
